I always love a Wedding in the Hokianga, it has to be one of the most beautiful untouched locations, where everywhere you go is the perfect scene. It was such a pleasure capturing Kristen and Rob's small intimate Wedding. Their were good vibes all round between their close friends and Family celebrating their new journey together as husband and wife.
I feel so lucky to always get the most fun relaxed couples to work with. It was lots of fun capturing Emma and Jays rustic barn wedding in Maunu, Whangarei. Their bridal party were full of laughs and we even had Borris the swan join us for some magical bridal photos. Noone needs to know how aggressive he was as his beauty made up for it haha.
I felt very privileged when Louisa and Andy got in touch with me from across the ditch to photograph their Wedding. It was even better that we both shared a great love for Kombi Vans! They were stoked when I was able to source one from lovely friends for their special day.
Ceremony and Reception all took place at the stunning Pacific Rendevous where the views are one of a kind. This chilled out couple and all of their friends and family were so lovely to be around and a pleasure to capture everlasting memories for.
We made the trip over to the beautiful coastline of Walkerville, Victoria for a very special Wedding of my long time friend Sharnae. Sharnae and Roy had planned a small intimate ceremony on the beach, followed by a reception at the Families home close by.
I was so excited when Steph and Kurt asked me to be there to capture their beautiful Hokianga Wedding. It was such a beautiful day with perfect weather and all in good, happy spirit. Steph looked absolutely stunning as did her bridesmaids.
We had such a fun time up at the lookout for the bridal photos, with their packed picnic, chilled champagne, crate of beers and pack of cigars. Lots of good laughs were shared. The day was topped off with an amazing sunset, good music and dancing. Thanks again guys for having me there and I wish you all both all the happiness and love on your new journey together.
I had a great time Photographing Gemma and Erin's local Whangarei Wedding. With their venue being nice and close on their parents property, it added that extra something special and memorable to their day. Although we had a bit of rain, we still made the most of it and still got a bunch of stunning mystical photos at Whau Valley Dam.
I had such an awesome time photographing Jason & Olivia's farm Wedding last weekend up in beautiful Ahipara. I simply loved their rustic farm setting and how family orientated the whole day was, it was perfect! We even got to cruise around on the back of a tractor for our bridal photos. That's a true true kiwi Wedding for ya! Thanks for having me there to capture your day guys, I wish you both all the best on your new journey as husband and wife.
Abby and Rawhiti decided to have a private Wedding with only their three boys and a few immediate Family members present. Having been together for a long time they realized what was most important and created such a special, intimate day to celebrate there love.
Their beautiful ceremony took place at the Whangarei Quarry Gardens, where we had a few showers but that didn't dampen any spirits. We then headed on down to the Town Basin where we incorporated Rawhiti's love for skating in some of the shots and added that extra something special to their memories. It was such a pleasure being there to capture this cool, kick-back couples day. Thanks for having me guys and a huge CONGRATS!
It was such a pleasure capturing Matt & Sheridan's water front Wedding last week up in Paihia. You are both such amazing people, who truly share a special kind of love. It was such a nice intimate Wedding with an awesome home made photo booth and a very unique rehearsed dance that they surprised all of their guests with. Thank you for having SnapAbove and I there to document your day. Happy honeymooning lovers x x
